City of Dubuque Data Center Ordinance Community Input Meeting

  • Grand River Center 500 Bell Street Dubuque, Iowa, 52001 United States (map)

More communities are being considered for data center projects as people and businesses rely on digital services more than ever. The City of Dubuque is proactively asking residents for their input as it considers creating a city ordinance (a local law that sets rules within the city limits) for any future data centers that may be proposed in Dubuque.

No formal annexation petition, site plan, request for utilities, or development agreement regarding any proposed data center in the city limits has been presented to the City of Dubuque. If any project were to be proposed/submitted to the City by a developer, no action would be taken on it by the City Council until an ordinance is in place.

Doors open at 5:30 PM, event starts at 6:00 PM.
