Data Center Accountability for the Citizens of Dubuque County
Stop data centers from destroying our homeland
In late May 2026, the Dubuque County Planning and Zoning Commission made mention of a new data center planned for construction in the coming year. If this is left to continue, more than 35 houses will be directly across the street from a costly, loud, polluting facility.
This data center will engulf roughly 440 acres of prime Iowa farmland, and with the developers putting greater pressure on farmers, it could expand to over 700 acres. It will impact the lives of everyone living in these neighborhoods in more ways than one. Cost of living, electricity and water, and pollution of the water and air are just some of the certain outcomes awaiting these unwilling residents of this peaceful town.
From all of us here in Southern Dubuque, we ask for your support to prevent this data center from shattering our way of life.
Our Mission
We are a group of concerned citizens from Dubuque County and cities dedicated to ensuring the continued quality of life for families and future generations. United to protect our farmland, natural resources, environment and most importantly our citizens from the effects of large-scale data centers.
